Food For Baby - Team Page
I am working in conjunction with the North York Harvest food bank on an initiative called Food For Baby. Food For Baby provides baby food to high priority neighourhoods in the Jane/Finch area.
North York Harvest is the second-largest food bank in Toronto, distributing more than 1.6 million pounds of food last year through 60 neighbourhood programs. An independent, charitable organization, it envisions a community where all members are able to meet their food needs.
In 2010, 150,000 visits were recorded across their food bank network, and 40 per cent of people served were children and youth under 18.
